Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka 1st Test Day 3 Highlights 29 Jan 2014

Another day of Sri Lankan supremacy ended with Mahela Jayawardene’s brilliant knock. He scored 203 runs and remained not out. At 730 Sri Lanka declared their innings with a substantial lead of 498. Now Bangladesh is in deep trouble as in their second innings, they have already lost their first wicket. It looks almost inevitable that Sri Lanka is heading towards a victory with an innings. Today the effects of a long fielding for two continuous days could be seen through Bangladesh players’ body language. The fatigue and disappointment is the price they have to pay for their bad performance both with the bat and the ball. The impending fear of defeat is also another reason that rendered them more passive in the field.
